Well yes, though there is number of items you can get instead, if you don't like the high price, like: wiki.cloudstonegame.com/index.php/Autumn_Leafy_Ponchowiki.cloudstonegame.com/index.php/Green_Floatywiki.cloudstonegame.com/index.php/Snug_Sweatervs wiki.cloudstonegame.com/index.php/Bound_Gi_%28lvl_38%29And actually, green floaty is stronger. And two other items are hybrid, but still strong. You could also opt for fury chest item for armor and hp, but with absence of sasquish coat, you should probably get green floaty. So it's time to farm mission, troubled lands i suppose! Epic Treasure Chest (Zone level 36-41) if it's listed on second spot, meaning it's etc lvl 40. Or you could just simply go and buy that chest. Either way, i think you could use getting rid of outdated chest item and replacing with new one, especially if you are about to shard your way till 50. As for sharding till 50, it will take long time, and you'll learn all there is about sharding i guess. You'll be stuck with some items you wanna replace eventually though, and your killing and surviving capabilities will be weaker than those at 50+. If you ever opt going for levels instead of shards, you could gt quickly to 50 (bloop traps plus exp boosts), which would leave you with no gold, but would get you lvl 50 weapon and half of the lvl 50 gear to wear, along with lvl 41 sanguine slacks. Just exp running to lvl 53 and farming 25 malachite will get you 1.7 mil needed for lvl 53 full set. As for sharding, you could try haste later on, after season ends i suppose. I don't find haste that useful nowadays in rift, more situational, though i don't use it in rift mostly.

Bare in mind that once you kill a champ, you won't see new one in the next 30 seconds, so check the boost timer and after 30 sec enter new map. Wow. That is a trick. Are you sure? Not to question the experience, but is there any prooflink? Wiki does not mention it, as far as I see.

Hpa mentioned on chat, and few others too. I think you'll find it in update logs, announcements forum. Seems to work that way in my experience, though i didn't bother much with checking or trying to prove it wrong.

Thanks, the Snug sweater was extremely easy to pick up vs the others. And looks to have made a big difference in my stats already ;-) Armor up to 299, HP 1730. Only a 10-15 pt decrease in disc, and a hit to critical (but the gain on the stats vs the reduced disc/crit is significant) Slowly but surely making progress.... Helped with some major improvements in rift, went from farming F6 to F15 for points. Also my hotkey configuration seems to have made an impact - assessing which keys i hit the most and making them the easiest for me use. Im doing a mix of shard/xp farming now, I upped my bloop traps to 2, along with 2 wood producers, nothing substantial but the extra 1.2 mil xp every day is good. If I could ever get my wood resources up enough I would put up about 5/6 bloop for a couple days. But that is a lot of coin to build up...

Critical means little on lower levels i think, since you have to move around more and hit less. Plus you can't have enormous crit rating like lvl 50+ due to items available. Armor is significant, but only to a point. If lvl difference is higher than 7, you are capped at 45% reduction, which is 400 armor i think. Hp is always useful to have, and few less dics in exchange for it is good, on lower levels. Maybe even on higher.
For rift, tornado is the best skill, for me at least. And most monks use it there. Other than rift, tornado isn't that useful (can slow mages a bit in arena though, if that means anything). I mostly use mastery + whirly, along with ew to replenish power. I only heal when i wanna get to full hp, rarely to kill. When i cast aegis, i healbomb twice to kill mobs, but whirly alone would suffice most often.
Mix can be good too. As long as you get over 1 mil in average per exp boost, and over 200 shards per shard boost, you're fine. Your shard average will only rise in time, as you grow stronger.

Those are great! You're progressing nicely btw! Bad news is that you might be stuck now with gear till some higher lvl, like 45 perhaps (rift back; possible ruby neck and ruby weapon, though i only suggest neck), then lvl 50 and 53. Glad you bought hat, since you won't find much better till 50, and no need to get full set at 50 when you can get better set at 53. As you saw, lvl difference isn't that significant when it comes to champs, especially with more invested in shard perk. Getting epic items from maps is something i discourage, but since you'll need better chest, check and see here if there's something managable at some higher level, till 50. wiki.cloudstonegame.com/index.php/Sacred_Liana_%28lvl_46%29That was pretty good for me till 50. But it's hard to find, there's easy item (i think) at 47: wiki.cloudstonegame.com/index.php/Master_Gi_%28lvl_47%29This is an option also: wiki.cloudstonegame.com/index.php/Gi_of_PilgrimageLook here for more items, sort them by levels wiki.cloudstonegame.com/index.php/Chest_Itemsedit: oh yes, using your current pants item is good for rift, but vs champs you might consider sanguine slacks - i had them till lvl 53. Also consider bloop traps at some point, but beware - they will get you cash deprived, and will only give you some exp, like half of boost exp per trap. Also they disabled me to finish whole lvl 50 set, but i was aiming fo just some pieces of gear like weapon and stat increase, so i was fine. Getting full set at 50 is even worse now with 53 gear available - still it's good to have for stat increase, especially in rift.

Seems to work that way in my experience, though i didn't bother much with checking or trying to prove it wrong. Nice. Probably it is not that straightforward or counts a bit differently: I've met a champ recently right after getting shards and leaving the gauntlet. Say, not more than 10-15 seconds. Though I prefer to think some delay is a must - gives some moment for relaxation after the fight

forums.playsaurus.com/index.php?topic=4129.0This thread mentions something about champs spawn cd - in short, it wasn't announced yet somehow some players noticed and acted upon it. Seems they made cd of 3 min for champ spawning, and then after people asked about it and complained, they did something about it to fix it. That "fix" is probably cd time down to 30 sec instead of 0, but i can't be sure of it. There's probably an easy way to see it through the source code, but i don't know how and don't wanna bother as i take hpa's word on it. On the other hand, whenever i tried before (without knowing of this 30 sec thing) to enter some map right after killing a champ, i couldn't find one immediately. Also, i learned to check timer on top right after kill, and measure time before entering new map. Sometimes i would enter little before the end of 30 seconds, and champs will appear, if map is loaded after the pass of 30 min (if map takes 5 sec to load for me and i click to enter it 26 seconds after killing a champ, which makes me enter it 31 sec after a kill). After i found out about 30 sec, i didn't check much if it's true, but those few checks i did didn't spawn a champ for me. It's hard to make sure that way, and possibly wastes a lot of vigor and time. Best bet is asking hpa how he got to this info i suppose

41-44 went relatively fast. As long as your boosts average 1-2mil, a level every few days is not out of reach.
Levels to boost -- Tormented Lands (Solid 1+ mil in 10 min) - I keep Quix on cue for this - he can live with the whole map on aggro and has a relatively quick kill rate) -- Bwildered Plains (Good for 400k or so in a relatively short span - overall I keep this as a filler due to the amount of travel/loading screens on the map) -- Familiar Forest (Three screens and done - squishies die fast, and straight to the secret room for the 3 coins) -- Note on FF - If you haven't beaten this, you could go from mid 30s to 45 at an extremely quick pace doing the above and having only the 1 min cd. -- Timer winding down - a quick jump over to Sasquish Camp for a solid 200k.
Things to do while not on boost - -- Sure we have lives, but if you are already at the comp and beaten FF, keep the window open and run through every half hour to the secret room - Solid 500k-1mil in a day without any effort.
Home - -- 2 Bloop traps/2 wood. Run both on the 20hr timer until you stockpile around 1k in wood. Put the two wood sprites away and run 4 traps. Rinse and repeat - 1.2 mil every day + a 1.2 bonus about once a week.
This is basically what I have done for these levels - given a time machine I would go back and farm FF until 45. While I agree with the arguments to stick with BP instead, I don't think they account for the xp gain in the secret room. I have found it significant enough, even with the level cool down, it speeds up the leveling process.
