first off, my CV for reference: kong.cloudstonegame.com/main/CharacterViewer?uid=12043381as for gear, I'm currently working on getting Four Paths and more Stone Rider Gear (ice shards please! D: ) but yeah, I would like to be able to take and dish out more damage (preferably while using staves/staffs/wands- my preference but I can change that too...) since that's really important for making it in this game well- I have a Potion of Amnesia, and am thinking of changing my skills but don't know what would be best... also, I don't have anymore rubies so I won't be able to respec for awhile! Help a kitty out won't you? -there's a lot I still have yet to learn and I'd benefit greatly from your advice and I thank you in advance :3

Gear: I would start farming Overgrown Help Wanted mission, chop down 29 trees, exit, wash, rinse, repeat. This will give you leaves and bear pears for the Autumn Set and Four Paths. Cursed Ice Shards are too hard to come by, and better for the Necro set if you want. Autumn Set > Blue Stone Rider and A LOT easier to get. You only have 3 levels more until 40, they will go by quickly.
I am not well versed in Wizmonk so I am going to let someone else comment on the skills.

oh no, leaves! I've heard stories about farming for the Autumn Set... but that does sound doable, especially since I know of two good alternatives for trees & whatnot when Overgrown gets stale: "Island's Edge" & parts of Narwhalimbus and yeah, those shards are so, so rare D:
-with regards to skills, I know that if I want to rift effectively I'll probably want whirly and I might drop that other fire spell or train with it since I never got used to putting that into practice against monsters consistently
thank you~ :3

Don't worry... farming for leaves isn't that hard... You can get a crate in an hour or two of farming. A full set isn't needed, I only had 3 or 4 pieces and filled the rest w/ PVP pieces. Much, Much easier than shards

Hey fey, this is my suggestion, although my caveat is that i never played as a wand wielding wizmonk--i only gave it a go with tin claws around 42 Skills wise, I would say: Wiz: 5/5 firebats (if you like them) or 5/5 staff 5/5 powersurge 5/5 Ice spike 5/5 flame strike Monk: 5/5 heal bomb 5/5 improved healing My strategy in determining builds is to try out the skills i know i want and see what's missing. with these base skills you can see what you most need: more healing--can go for bikram yoga up to 5/5, or 1/5 mass heal more damage-- can try pyro penguin or power bomb 5/5 or staff mastery if you didn't get it before ??-- ? Also, despite the efforts of leaf farming, i really enjoy my leafy gear, and as el said, you don't need to get the whole thing--the stats you get from each piece individually is very nice. you also definitey get diminishing returns on your effort, since the pieces you get are random, he chances for getting repeats goes up the more crates you get.

Sounds like a similar plan to mine right now - I alternate Overgrown with Troubled Lands (without completing either of course) with the latter providing an easy 2 trees before quitting or even better 5 trees and a legendary chest (sometimes get leaves from that as well as the occasional useful item and a bunch of stuff to sell!) With a gold boost it can net between 200-2000 gold per run (depending on level, legendary chest gold, etc) which comes in pretty handy for building up resources and a bit of a gold reserve for a rainy day!

hm, been taking everyone's advice- well, at least reading it & trying to implement different things
currently working on getting more bear pears & leaves for the Autumn Set & 4 Paths -thinking about doing ANOTHER respec but not sure yet (also at 0 rubies again -sigh-)
but yeah, please continue to critique me- I would like to be able to make more of an impact for Rifting in the days and seasons to come! :3

did another respec lately- now have more stuns which is useful, I miss having my power bar be maxed out at 150, but 120 is pretty good (kinda wish there were power stones too... )
getting closer to 4 paths, now need less than 200 more bear pears so that's pretty good
I hope to see some tips on Rifting for wizmonks like me soon- and I need to be more patient as I work on leveling up too... woo~

The move speed is also very important to survive in the rift, which helps you to avoid monsters. Maybe you could consider to pick up a kabucki mask the next reward time. And possibly buy fake faerie wings, while waiting for the good stuff at level 45. Another small thing: after winning a rift stage, don't hesitate to destroy all ancient plots: sometimes they drop bear pears.

-reporting in again to update Tempest: yes, I've been doing much better in rift (as well as in ALL OF CS) since you helped me with the rebuild earlier- it's great, F19 is much easier now... I'm still working on trying to get past f20, but news told me that that might not happen for me until I'm lv 40 (39 now) so I'm pretty content :3 **** oh, I forgot something... I'm pretty close to getting the Autumn leafy set- I just need more Enchanteds and Razors and I'll be done with that soon! <3

Leafy will be a huge help too and then with some boss luck on F20 you should be able to make it past
